轉知Google東亞博士獎學金計畫申請資訊，此項計畫旨在為了表揚及獎勵在電腦科學或相關學科、以及其他潛力研究領域中，擁有卓越表現的傑出博士生。

Google 將提供總共不超過8個獎學金名額給來自台灣、香港、韓國及日本的博士生，其研究領域為：

‧Human-Computer Interaction 人機互動

‧Machine Learning 機器學習

‧Machine Perception, Speech Technology and Computer Vision 機器認知、語音技術及電腦視覺

‧Mobile Computing 行動電腦運算

‧Natural Language Processing (including Information Retrieval and Extraction) 自然語言處理 (包含資訊檢索與擷取)

‧Systems and Networking 系統與網路

此項獎學金計畫為期一年，並提供一萬美元 (約新台幣30萬元) 的一次性獎學金，欲了解更多關於如何申請、申請資格與條件等資訊，可至此網站查看：http://www.google.com/intl/en_cn/university/research/phdfellowship.html 。若申請者已獲得其他公司之獎學金計畫支持，則不符合此計畫之參與條件（若由政府提供之獎學金則不在此限）。

重要資訊：

1.本所至多可推薦一名博士生，請於6/9前將申請文件電子檔送至所辦進行初審。申請需備資料如下（合併成一個PDF檔）：

‧Student CV with links to website and publications (if available) 學生簡歷 （若有網站或研究發布請提供連結)

‧Short (1-page) CV of the student's primary advisor 學生指導教授簡歷（一頁）

‧Transcripts of current and previous academic year records  歷史成績單 (最近兩個學年)

‧2-3 letters of recommendation from those familiar with the nominee's work (at least one from the thesis advisor) 2-3封推薦函 (至少一封來自論文指導教授)

‧Research / dissertation proposal including references (maximum 8 pages) 研究 / 論文提綱 （包含來源，最多以8頁為限）

‧Student essay response (350-word limit) to: Describe the desired impact your research will make on the field and society, and why this is important to you. Include any personal, educational and/or professional experiences that have motivated your research interests.  學生論述 （350字為限）：描述您的研究對該領域及社會帶來的影響為何，以及此研究對您的重要性，可包含任何與您個人、學術或專業領域相關的經驗而起的研究動機。

‧Student essay response (350-word limit) to: Describe an example of your leadership experience in which you have positively influenced others, helped resolve disputes or contributed to group efforts over time. 學生論述 （350字為限）：描述一個您曾經發揮領導力的經歷，例如正向影響他人、協助解決爭端或對團體做出貢獻等。

Google將針對所有來自台灣、香港、韓國及日本的報名進行評選，預計將於9月份公布獎學金名單。
